IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT - VERY FUNNY

 

NOTHING MUCH REALLY - JUST DOCUMENTING THE DAY AFTER THE CROWDS LEAVE (LABOR DAY WEEKEND)

 Finally got out regardless of the smoke in the air and walked over at Lake Arrowhead, and it was so nice that we could park and not have to look all over for a parking space.  This was on Tuesday the day after Labor Day.  Still a lot of smoke in the air.  I can see the haze but I really don't smell smoke.  We will get out again today and see how things are.  It's in the mid 80's today so that's a welcome relief from last week.

There was only one boat on this part of the lake that I could see.   

I STILL LOVE REAL BOOKS -

I have the ability on my laptop to read books from Amazon but I've only tried it once and didn't care for it. I like books I can hold when I'm reading. I love this video. I saw it years ago and saved it off and then watched it again today. What do you prefer Kindle or holding a book in hand? I don't buy books any more but have a library a couple blocks away that if I wanted a certain book I could probably get it there. I'm still catching up on some novels I've had for years and never read.

WHEN ONE NEIGHBOR LOVES THE COLOR OF THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR AND PAINTS THEIR HOUSE THE SAME COLOR

 The house on the right I believe was an old white/beige color and then last week I drove by and was happy to see the difference.  I wouldn't mind that color on my house.

So more heat  is coming our way over Labor Day weekend -  it will be a stay at home weekend while we leave the lakes to the tourists.  It will be way too hot and crowded to spend time away from the house.

We probably will hit close to 100 while just down the mountain they will be probably about 110.
