BEAUTIFUL GIG HARBOR

Got back yesterday from our Washington state trip to an area not far from Seattle to visit my son's family (about 45 minutes).  I had to use an old digital camera I've had for a long time because my favorite one is acting up.  Anyway - the photo isn't the most clear but it will do.  I love spending time in this area - it's a quaint town with a beautiful harbor.  We got there pretty late in the afternoon and the lighting wasn't that good so I had to work with editing it and this is the best I could get and the more I look at it, the more I can't wait to go back and spend more time there.

Our next trip won't be until November and that will be to the central coast (which makes  me very happy).

Back home now and I can catch up on some blogs.

HOUSE IN OCTOBER LAST YEAR IN CEDAR GLEN, LAKE ARROWHEAD

I'm already looking forward to visiting all the little mountain towns when they start showing their colors.  I rarely posted anything from fall last year and the year before.  I took quite a lot of photos, thought I would post a few.  I really like this house.  Cedar Glen is a small community which has really nice houses and cabins.

I'M GOING TO BE IN WASHINGTON - ABOUT AN HOUR FROM SEATTLE - IN A FEW WEEKS

We will be visiting our oldest son and his family.  I'm really looking forward to the change of scenery and the beautiful nature that is up in Washington.

Here are a few of my photos from some of my past trips there.  I may be posting more that I haven't posted before of the various areas.

These are from the ferry coming into Vashon Island.  I'm hoping I can see more small towns around the Seattle area when we are there.  I just think peaceful thoughts when I see these photos.

A YEAR AGO TODAY - REDLANDS IN 110 DEGREE WEATHER

Right now Redlands shows a temp of 82.  A year ago to the day we were down there and it was 110 degrees.  Here are some photos from that day.  It was beautiful but so hot!  I actually labeled the folder 110 degrees redlands.

Also a front porch post.  The tan house appears to have a small porch and I can't tell if this was just a side view of the house or the front.  I believe it is a side view.

I may have posted that house below before but it wasn't on this blog.

Also the bottom three photos are a view of the banner from farther away.  We were sitting at an outside restaurant in Lake Arrowhead and I used my zoom to go across the lake and photograph these houses.
