I was looking for a different place to walk one day and ended up near an area called Papoose Lake across the road from Lake Arrowhead. It is a reservoir and there is a service road i took to go next to it ...then after that I headed up a steeper hill to get to the park. What I saw was so beautiful. This body of water is the reservoir and the clouds were so amazing. If it wasn't for the beautiful sky I would have probably not enjoyed an uphill walk but with every step it was even more invigorating.
Here are just a few of the many photos i took. Hoping to do something equally as invigorating today. Temps are chilly and sun is out after two days of clouds and rain.
I love the yellow rabbit brush this time of year and i don't know what the rust colored plants are but i will be finding out.
Beautiful hike! That last one is my favorite. In a photo or two, the cloud is filled with critters I can make out. I love when that happens.
