I DON'T DESIRE A BIG HOUSE

Just a house on the shoreline with a path down to my boat that is docked and ready to take out on the lake.

This photo was taken last December.  I first discovered this shoreline walk a year ago this month.  So it has now been a year since I've seen every season around the lake.  It's been a fun year with many different walks and I'm so glad I discovered a way into this private community.

The only problem with this particular area is I'm way across the water on the other side of the shore taking this photo and these houses are situated in a really extra private gated community and no one can get there  no matter how much one might try to figure out how to get over there - Maybe if I had a boat I could row to the docks and say howdy to those nice people.

A small 3 bedroom place will do me just fine as long as there is a boat and a dock.  One can dream...

Gream it in to the REAL here and now! DO it! It looks so beautiful there! I sure hope people actually live there full time and don't just use those huge houses for a vacation place once a year. We find the biggest houses with ocean views in this area are often sitting there empty most of the year.

So what kind of a boat is yours? Mine would be just a row boat or a canoe or kayak, something that works your body while you enjoy the feel of being on water and seeing the sights. I'd just want to get out in the early morning and get on the water and float away!!

A small house with a good size front porch and a boat dock sounds ideal to me.

Such beautiful dwellings...and with a private boat dock too. This must surely be Utopia...xxx

thanks all - dreaming does cost nothing and the cool thing is - when I'm walking on these shorelines around the lake(s) I still get to enjoy some of the things these owners paid millions for in some cases (some of the houses not shown are mansions of the rich and famous I guess). So I walk in gratitude knowing I am in the midst of it all in enjoyment.

Laura what kind of boat - i probably would have two - I would have a party barge type boat just for when the kids visit and we all go out on the lake - and then I would have a kayak or canoe one for me and one for mike. so i guess i would have three boats. However, I would stay off the lake during holidays because the speedsters come out with their powerful boats and it's crazy.
