Since I'm going to be back in this area in May - I need to finish up posting my photos from January. I'm really looking forward to another trip to this area, and I'm especially looking forward to warm sunny weather (but not too warm).
First ones are of a walk through a neighborhood and i loved the plants and front yard seating area.
Next door to the beautiful new hotel we got to stay at The Inn at Pismo Beach, is another big hotel going up - I think it is a Marriott. The hotel in the background was the new one we stayed at and if you overlooked all the construction you have a beautiful ocean view.
These buildings below are going to have their view blocked when the new hotel goes in.
On the fence is pictures of what it is going to look like. Pismo has always been an old fashion beach town but a lot of changes are being made and in a way it's sad, but, at least the new hotels are beautiful and once in, you would think they have always been there...well that's how I see it anyway.

Just the other day we walked by the property that the new hotel is being built in and were surprised how much as been done in just a few weeks. I didn't take a photo, but I will next time we walk by there so you can see the difference. Your pictures came out great and so colorful. If I didn't know better, some of those photos look like they were just from being there and not of the pictures of what is to come. May will be here before we know it!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like, from the picture, that it will look great when it is all done. I agree, though, that all of the continued development can be sad sometimes. Pretty pictures of the area there.
