Not sure exactly where this was in our travels last May but I know it was just outside of Trinidad as we made our way to Eugene and then Bend, Oregon.
I have to say, this front porch and surrounding property and the house itself would be a dream house for me. Whether it was in Northern California or just as we crossed the border to Oregon - wouldn't matter a bit - California or Oregon or Washington - any of those states would be perfect.
This was taken as we traveled down the highway and I had zoomed it. I was surprised that the photo wasn't blurry.
How was your Christmas (if you celebrate that holiday). Ours was nice and pretty low key. We went down to one of our sons' house about 40 minutes away and it was a cozy day with good food and playing games.
It had snowed in the morning here in the mountains and it only lasted 15 to 20 minutes which was great - although the higher mountain towns got a lot of snow.

Our Christmas was very quiet. Just the two of us. Yesterday was a different story. Very, very busy! My family came over. There was a lot of great food and great company.

meaning it wasn't blurry but the colors were washed out and not a lot of definition to it.
ReplyDeleteInteresting-looking house! I don't think I'd like all those stairs, though. Our Christmas was fairly low key but nice too. We had a nice visit with our sons and daughter-in-law, as well as my husband's family.
