We were hanging out in Shell Beach up at the Central California coast waiting to hear when Hannah (our great niece) was born. I've always loved this photo especially because you can see the pelicans on the cliff which I took many photos of that day. We also hung out at Madonna Inn for a few hours and Santa Margarita Lake and towards the end of our "wait" at the pier in Pismo Beach watching the seagulls.
In the bottom pic I was at an angle photographing the house that was next door to this house which is at the top here. They both are on the cliffs overlooking the ocean.
Thirteen years ago and I imagine the pelicans are still nesting on these cliffs. Maybe some of their offspring.

I have always loved these photos you too. That second one, the first one of the pelicans, is just beautiful! Of course you know I painted the one of the group of pelicans on the rock ledge there. Nice to see these again!!

Todas las imágenes tienen un especial atractivo, desde esa hermosa casa hasta los pelícanos que crecen felices en plena libertad.
