Being up in Big Bear Lake area yesterday we were driving along the hwy through Fawnskin to see if the Nature Center was open. I had my camera with me, taking photos as we passed areas along the hwy.
When I got home and was editing my photos this scene stood out. Not sure why I'm so drawn to it but it could be that green house and the trees or it could be a combination of that plus the perfect temp and feel of the day.
The Big Bear lake definitely needs a couple of real good winter seasons to get the lake back up to a good level. The shoreline grows every larger every time we go up as the lake level shrinks.
Very quiet this week as the holidays ended.
I like the banner shot and that green house. I can see why you like it. It looks so nice sitting among the trees and all that greenery.
ReplyDeletethanks, that's overlooking the rim in a certain area nearby. That green house - i think i want to sketch it.
DeleteEs bonita la urbanización y esa casa verde destaca sobre todas.
ReplyDeleteBesos.
Without the holiday there is no animation.

I love that house perched on the mountainside in your header!
ReplyDeleteOh my. I've been absent a couple of weeks. Such wonderful pictures, both here and the last post. xoxo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and peaceful place.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the climatic changes start to have their effects everywhere, in some places it rains torrentially and in others it is extremely hot. Also around here the rivers and lakes also have very low water levels.
The pink roof would have caught my attention! How cute.
